Which companion website do you need?
You have to choose among four types of companion websites. If you want to:
|Spread your research||Submit your paper to a journal|
|Make your code executable||Complete Companion Website||Anonymous Companion Website|
|Only make your code downloadable||Code-Only Companion Website||Anonymous Code-Only Companion Website|
1. Complete Companion Website Replicability score:
If you want to spread your research and make it replicable, you need to create a complete companion website. Users can upload their own data and the code will run on the RunMyCode cloud computer. Note that your computer code must be written in Matlab®, R, or WinRats.
2. Anonymous Companion Website Replicability score:
If you want to submit your paper to a journal, you can also create an anonymous version of your companion website. You can send the URL of the anonymous companion website to the journal along with the pdf file of your paper.
3. Code-Only Companion Website Replicability score:
If you only want to make your computer code downloadable (but not executable), you can create a code-only companion website. Users will be able to download your code and run it on their own computers. Note that if your code is not written in Matlab®, R, Fortran or WinRats, you can only create a code-only companion website.
