Description

This file indicates how to use the estimation code for the two multi-sample Bayesian structural equation models in the paper by Camacho, N., M.G. de Jong and S. Stremersch (2014) . The paper was estimated on a dataset with 11,735 observations from consumers in 17 countries. The model was estimated using WinBUGS version 1.4.3, its latest version, released in August 2007. WinBUGS has a freeware license and can thus be downloaded for free from its website (http://www.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk/bugs/winbugs/). We share our WinBUGS code for the two models discussed in the paper: - The main model specified in section 4.5 and discussed in section 5 of the paper (results reported in Table 1 and Table 2), and - The mediation model discussed in section 6 of the paper (whose results are reported in Table 3).
